Maid 4 TV in Action
Maid the Future
Picture Maid 4 TV’s evolution from a one man band to a super group power house touring band… One man with his briefcase of charm and a suitcase of clothes taking an aimless adventure halfway across America from Omaha, NE to Los Angeles with barely any money in his pocket but a heart and mind full of dreams and passion. Once in his new city of freedom and opportunity, he puts out an ad looking for a dj/producer and a visual artist as the backbone of the forming group. With the DJ, visual artist and the man they start booking shows around LA to capture some attention. The man of this group would develop a spectacle of on stage antics that would rile the crowd. While performing alone for a few months he would also be searching for Maid dancers. Since maids are both male and female and the man’s main purpose in life is to be the center of attention... it is only fitting to form a writing team and vocal group with a man and a woman. This is the niche! Buy Sex You All will be the first release from this super-group of menservants and maidservants which will go on to sell millions of copies and travel the world singing songs of happiness and triumph, while spreading cheer and most of all love to the people of the land. Can you dig it?

TRL is yo friend... here's a secret.
People have a tendency to look at the things they want and say, “Yes, I like that, I want that”. However, they look at the things they don’t want and they give them just as much energy, if not more, with the idea that they can stamp it out, they can eliminate it or obliterate it. In our society, we’ve become content with fighting against things. Fight against cancer, poverty, war, drugs, terrorism, violence. We tend to fight everything we don’t want, which actually creates more of a fight.
Resistance to anything is like trying to change the outside pictures after they have been transmitted. It’s a futile pursuit. You have to go within and emit a new signal with your thoughts and feelings to create the new pictures.
Instead of focusing on what we don’t want give that energy to trust, love, living in abundance, education or peace!
You have all the power. Focus on everybody being in joy. Focus on abundance of food. Give your powerful thoughts to what is wanted. You have the ability to give so much to the world by emitting feelings of love and well being, despite what is happening around you.
Learn to become still, and to take your attention away from what you don’t want and all the emotional charge around it, and place the attention on what you wish to experience… Energy flows where the attention goes.
When you feel good you uplift your life, and you uplift the world.
When the voice and vision of the inside become more profound, clear and loud than the opinions of the outside, you’ve mastered your life.
Everything that you want - all the joy, love, abundance, prosperity, bliss – its there, ready for you to grab ahold of it. And you’ve got to get hungry for it. You’ve got to be intentional. And when you become intentional and on fire for what you want, the Universe will deliver every single thing that you’ve been wanting. Recognize the beautiful and wonderful people and things around you and bless and praise them. On the other side, the things that aren’t currently working the way you want them to work, don’t spend your energy faulting or complaining. Embrace everything that you want so you can get more of it.
Praising and blessing dissolves all negativity, so praise and bless your enemies. If you curse your enemies, the curse will come back to harm you. If you praise and bless them you will dissolve all negativity and discord, and the love of the praising and blessings will return to you. As you praise and bless, you will feel yourself shift into a new frequency with the feedback of good feelings.
We will never run out of things because there’s more than enough to go around for everyone. Life is meant to be abundant.

Talkin to my generation...
Our generations question is Why? Why can't I do what I want? Why shouldn't I be able to say what I want? Why isn't my food ready yet?
But the generational question we often times forget to ask is... Why Not?
Our generations answer is NOW! I have to be there, NOW! I should jump at every beck and call, NOW! If I don't have it NOW~! I might freak out or pop a cap in my ex hommies ass, we'll get to that later. I want my internet... yep you got it, NOW~!
Well... I learned that opening statements should be appealing, thought provoking and better yet, attention getting. Did I do a good job? Well, if I did... great.
I am not here to tell anyone what they are doing wrong or right. I feel my place in life is to inspire. Inspiring you is to inspire myself to do more and to share more. So the question I am posing to us is Why Not? NOW! Because if not now! Why? and if not now, When?
When will our climate pattern improve?
When will we stop depending on foreign oil?
When will we stop feeding our families on government programs?
When will we take our familiy life and culture more serious?
A friend and mentor of mine, Bill Cordes said YOGOWYPI... You Only Get Out What You Put In.

TRL Maxey, who has worked in the radio industry here in Omaha for many years, is hosting an event this Sunday at the Waiting Room entitled “Y Not Now?” The event is set up to create a dialogue amongst those attending on topics such as politics, culture and local activism. The event will hopefully allow others interested in these and other topics to network with each other and brainstorm on ways to come together to contribute back to our community. This is the first of many events that Maxey has planned. This event will feature music from Adam “It’s True” Hawkins, Breathless and the Last Few. DJ’s Brent Crampton of Loom and Power 106.9’s Hot Boy will also be on hand for a dance party to follow the live music portion of the event. Info sessions and show start at 8 p.m. and the cost of the event is $5.
Another happening this Sunday is the CD release show for the final Hacienda Brothers album at Mick‘s. The Hacienda Brothers, a collaboration between Dave Gonzalez and Chris Gafney, were based out of Arizona but were adopted by many music fans here in Omaha as one of our own. Gonzalez was a founding member of popular rock-a-billy band the Paladins and Gaffney was a revered solo artist and sometimes collaborator with Blasters front man Dave Alvin. Gaffney passed away this past April from liver cancer. Gonzalez is going back on the road for the first time in six years without his partner and doing tribute/benefit shows celebrating the band’s final release “Arizona Motel.” Gonzalez will be backed by a band of all-star Texas musicians that he is calling the Stone River Boys. Buying advanced tickets to this show is highly recommended and they can be purchased at SundayRoadhouse.com.
If you are out looking to celebrate the Fourth of July with some live music, do not waste your time. Thursday and Saturday have plenty of entertainment options for those celebrating a long weekend or looking to show out of town guests what Omaha has to offer. On Thursday at the Waiting Room, kitschy touring band Colourmusic headline a show that is rounded out by locals Oui Bandits. Pixies front man Frank Black returns to Omaha with his rock band alter ego Black Francis. Black will be performing at the Slowdown with local singer-songwriter Brad Hoshaw opening. Hoshaw will be performing a rare full band show.
This week’s early blues show at Murphy’s features Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble. I think that name explains what kind of party you will find out there at the 5:30 p.m. show. Two of the most popular bands of the ‘90s, Goldfinger and Less Than Jake, team up for a tour that will take them to Sokol Auditorium on Saturday night. The show is rounded out by Big D and the Kids Table and Suburban Legends. Grammy-nominated Christian band Red will perform at the Slowdown on Saturday night with locals Aurasing. Two of Omaha’s biggest drawing bands right now Led Zepplin tribute band Song Remains The Same and original funksters Satchel Grande combine audiences Saturday for a big show at the Waiting Room. The Whipkey Three take the stage on Saturday for a headlining gig at Mick’s and Bloodcow kick off their east coast tour that same night at Mike’s Place in Council Bluffs. The Legacy Amphitheater at the Shops at Legacy will be hosting an all day jazz and blues festival that day, too.The event starts off at noon with 112 North Duck and continues until 10 p.m. with the Dave Lambert Band, Higher Pursuit, Blue House and the King Cool Orchestra. This event is free and family friendly

July 6 Show Planned For New Community Organization Breathless, The Last Few, DJ Brent Crampton To Perform
Omaha, Neb., June 26, 2008 – An eclectic group of entertainers including legendary hip-hop lady emcee Breathless and loom DJ Brent Crampton will hit the stage at the Waiting Room Lounge on July 6 to support the new community organization Y Not? Now! Founder and Omaha native Terrell Maxey dreamed up the idea for the grassroots Y Not? Now! to motivate young people to become “active members and future leaders in their community.”
The organization’s kick-off will feature a string of local favorites. Alongside Breathless, singer-songwriter It’s True and soul veterans The Last Few will perform. DJ Brent Crampton and Power 106.9’s Hot Boy will spin records at the post-show dance party. The purpose, plans and goals of Y Not? Now! will be laid out in short informational sessions led by Maxey throughout the evening.
Y Not? Now! aims to create an open forum for teenagers to thirty-somethings to become involved in their communities and be more interactive with each other. “There is more to be done than choosing a candidate for President. We live in a growing, thriving city,” said Maxey. “I have many conversations with my peers and they talk passionately about their concerns. However we have yet to find ways to break through towards solutions.”
The Metro Community College student is eager for people to bring their questions, concerns and ideas to the show. “I chose the busiest weekend so that Y Not? Now! can make its mark in the O!,” said the 23-year-old Maxey. “I hope folks will find the time to unwind and answer the question: Y Not? Now!”
The Y Not? Now! show is open to all ages at the Waiting Room Lounge at 6212 Maple Street in Benson. The cover is $5. Show starts at 8:00pm.

Hel-low my name is... Why Not? Now!
Y Not? NOW! For now is an organization of one. But with HOPE and FAITH that more than I will wonder… Why NOT? NOW! Do more, to do something.
Until a couple of weeks ago, I found it hard to do more than have an extreme urge to get up, get out and do something. But an enlightening lunch and conversation with a friend showed me that something, this big, can't be done… on my own. In life we not only need others for support and criticism, we need each other for partnership.
I understand, we all want CHANGE… but what are we willing to CHANGE to reach our goal? CHANGE is not in the candidate; therefore the CHANGE is from within.
I Now! Ask you Why NOT? Be a part of what hopefully will be a part of the solution. I only need your help… NOT NOW? Y!
Bring your questions , concerns and an open mind...
